ReplyDeleteWhat a poignant and touching chapter. It's so easy to forget that not all the loves are mutual and happy. That paragraph about bottling the look on Pat's face as the essence of unrequited love had my tears flowing, too. I even feel for Zito, and I never thought I'd say that! Tim's admission that he might know how Pat feels loving a married man means that under Tim's and Buster's passion and love for each other is Tim's understanding that he can never have Buster all for his own. Thank you for this chapter and please keep writing - I was so excited to see Ch 36 tonight I've forgotten about getting some sleep!
